Rosewood 09 was one suggestion. I previously avoided it, thinking it would be too pink (hence rabbit eyes). Upon application, though, it was a perfect neutral and created one of my favorite almost naked looks together with Burberry Porcelain 03 and Antique Rose 10 (photos and review of the latter coming soon).

You do get 2.7 grams of product, which for shadow is quite a bit, but still. €29 for one eyeshadow is a lot of money, so this better be good. And it is! Good that is. An Ode to Burberry Rosewood. If I had to choose just one shade to wear all over for the rest of my life, I would without a doubt pick Burberry Rosewood. This cult classic rosy brown shade just works anywhere, on the eyes, lips, and cheeks, for a defined, neutral look. I love me a good pinky brown, and Burberry just does it so well.

Burberry Rosewood (202) Wet & Dry Silk Shadow ($29.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium-dark taupe brown with a hint of rose and a subtly metallic sheen. It had semi-opaque coverage applied dry and opaque coverage applied damp, and the finish became more metallic when it was applied with a wet brush. The consistency was very finely-milled and silky.

The Burberry Wet & Dry Silk eyeshadow in Rosewood is a true taupe color with a hint of silver shimmer. Like with the other shade the shimmer is so finely milled that it shows up as a beautiful sheen on the eyes. The eyeshadow can be used dry for a wash of color or wet if you would like a more intense pigmentation and a more metallic finish.
